Christmas reminds me of red, white and green. I decided to create a red and gold Christmas tablescape. A traditional theme is always a winner. This table came out great and budget friendly too, with not a lot of decorations needed.
Decor
The bird cage was purchased from Michaels and created the perfect center piece. It already came with holiday ribbon, acorns and greenery tied to the top. I decided to add two ornaments inside the cage as well. I created extra height with boxes that I wrapped with gold wrapping paper for the bird cage and nutcrackers to be placed on. At the same time not blocking the view from other guests across the table.
The table was decorated with acorns, nutcrackers, gold ribbon and ornaments from the dollar store. Its amazing how much adorable variety of decorations you will find there.
I chose white plates with gold cutlery and red napkins to complete the table setting.
