A DIY paper box advent calendar using ready made paper boxes and downloadable cut out paper ornaments.
This is a 12 day calendar. A fun DIY for counting down the days till Christmas.
Creating your own advent calendar allows you to customize each box according to the items you decide to include in each box. Each box can have one type of item in different designs (example cookies or chocolate) or different items (example trinkets, chocolate and stationery to name a few).

I wanted to create a winter wonderland theme. I used a white glitter sheet for the “snow”, white reindeer ornaments, faux greenery, pinecones and fairy lights. To create height I placed a few boxes on mini cake stands. Look around your house to find boxes, containers, packets etc to keep the items in.
To keep it simple, I kept the boxes plain and added the numbers to the front side of each box. The numbers were glitter white and gold card stock and cut using my Cricut machine. The ornament design will be available soon to download.
