As winter leaves us, we can look forward to spring. Which means flowers, sun, longer days and of course spring theme parties. This playful Easter dessert table will definitely please everyone at your next Easter party. This dessert table incorporating pastel colours, flowers and sweet treats. While keeping it simple and easy to recreate.
EASTER DECOR
Colourful flowers is a must for any Easter dessert table, I chose pink hues with a hint of purple. Yellow is another amazing colour to use. The golden egg (available from dollar store) and moss (available from Michaels) brings a special element as well. A blue cake platter was used for the mini cakes to compliment the pink and purple. Also, I used my Cricut machine to cut the bunny cake toppers and banner. Likewise, you can always buy decorations from any dollar/ party store.
SWEET TREATS
Cookies are always a winner, these are vanilla sugar cookies with royal icing. Whip up your favourite cookie recipe or support your local cookier. Strawberries are in season and perfect to use in a strawberry smoothie (recipe to come). Play around with different seasonal fruits as well. Serve in small glasses, as smoothies are quite filling. These small glasses were previous yoghurt containers and came in handy for this occasion.
The mini cakes are two cupcakes stacked together, assembled with buttercream and covered with fondant icing. Finished with buttercream borders and piping on the top with mini eggs and cake topper.
